BAD DATES!?!!!

Posted by admin On July - 29 - 2010

Here is a hilarious video on Bad Dates! Everyone needs to get some of her attitude in dealing with a bad date. The fact is everyone will go on at least one bad date. So always be prepared for a back up plan. Here are my rules for first dates.

1. Always meet in a public place

2. Have a code word with your bestfriend, this word will let her/him know if they need to intervene and get you out of the date.

3. Always have a set time for a friend to call and check to see if code word is needed!

4. Finally just be ready to roll with the punches and have fun regardless.

5 Power-Packed Dating Strategies

Posted by admin On July - 28 - 2010

It’s all in the eyes

In her book, How To Make Anyone Fall In Love With You, author Leil Lowndes claims that the act of staring into someone’s eyes can cause their nervous system to release a chemical called phenylethylamine (or PEA for short) which our bodies secrete when we fall in love. Studies show that gazing into your date’s eyes for about two minutes is all it takes to produce passionate feelings for you, so take advantage of this little secret to flood his bod with the love drug.

Let them know they have a shot

Studies show that finding out that someone we like, likes us back, actually intensifies our romantic feelings towards them. Yes, we actually become more attracted to people who are attracted to us. The hope (that a relationship may develop) allows our feelings to become stronger so be sure to let your date know that you’re attainable.

Make him work for it

Even in this day and age where it’s perfectly acceptable for women to behave more aggressively, never forget that men still love to chase. Always think of yourself as a prize that needs to be won over, and make your dates work a bit. You should meet at a place that’s convenient for you (he should travel further than you do, if possible) and end the date on your terms, preferably on a high note. Show some interest but let him wonder just how much you’re into him.

So, I picked the three dating strategies that I think are the most important. ” It’s all in the eyes” This is so true, I once fell so in love with a man who’s eyes spoke everything. I had to use my eyes as well. We worked together and It just wouldn’t have been very professional for the two of us to make it noticeable in front of everyone. Every time this man looked at me with those eyes I fell even more in love to the point that even after three years I still dream about him.  This is definitely a powerful trick!!

Next,  Let them know they have a shot. This is another powerful trick. I bet everyone has a story about someone that they never gave a second thought until they found out this person had a crush on them. I know I have definitely been there. So let the guy/girl know how you feel. Make sure you keep it subtle though. No one wants someone who is already whipped! The trick is to let them know they have a chance, now it is their turn to prove that they are deserving of it!

Lastly, Make him work for it.  I do not care how progressive this world is becoming. We are still completely human and there are characters about men and women that will never change. For instance a woman will always have a deep desire for a prince and a man will always want to be one. Guys are made to love adventure and competition. Let him have that fun with you. Do not play his role or you will never get to have yours!!

Here is a fun video about what girls want from a boyfriend. I am pretty sure funny, loyal and honest were the most common desires. The real truth is, girls love a guy who can make them laugh. We are creatures that are so emotional and feel every stress to the depth of our soul. So a guy who can make her laugh and not take life so seriously, it is like a great anti anxiety medicine!

Nothing makes a man more desired than when you pair funny with honest and loyal. It is a rare gem out there that can fulfill this but if you have it guys then you are a prize! Be sure to always be confident as well and you will have any girl you desire!

PS. Don’t pay too attention to the whole perfect body thing. I know plenty of women who have been hopelessly in love with men who were completely average and even on the chubby side. For women, character and personality goes a lot further!

Getting back out there … again

Posted by admin On July - 26 - 2010

Avoid the bar scene. Really, this is not the place to meet the love of your life. Though some claim success, most of those I’ve interviewed say it never really worked for them. If you’re just looking for a hook-up, a bar may be your best bet. But if you want a real relationship, try a different approach.

– Ask friends to introduce you to someone. This is my favorite way of meeting someone. A mutual friend knows both of you, so the due diligence is done and the first date will be much less awkward if there can be a double date that includes the mutual friend. This method of dating is not only safer, but is more fun and less scary than just picking someone up. So ask your friends. Then keep reminding them, and then go to as many parties as you can. Also, never turn down a wedding invitation — love is always present at a wedding.

– These days, you can’t avoid the Internet — and you shouldn’t. There are millions of singles on hundreds of dating sites, and many people have reconnected with old loves through Facebook. So you’ve got lots of company on the Internet, and your chances of meeting someone are pretty high.

It is always hard to want to get back out in the dating scene once you have had yet another failed relationship. Trust me, I have been there. The truth is guys sometimes a break is needed but it is dangerous to get too comfortable in it. Finding love requires risk and we must all be willing to take that leap. These three dating tips will help you get back out in the love game and hopefully find true love.
